I made the payment in full on March 11th, which was in direct response to your final reminder. Yet, despite this, I still received notice from the debt collection agency on March 21st, 10 days later! This is a complete failure on your part to properly manage my account and ensure the payment was processed in time to prevent unnecessary escalation. I re-iterate this company very unprofessional and the customer service is just appalling."

We now got to know that there were major damages on the roof (when the solar panel installers went on the roof) Avoid these guys and save money. He just walked around with a flashlight and took photos. There was something wrong with the wok burner (it took ages to light and was not reliable) but he took a photo after it was working and added this to the report. It should?ve been added as a minor defect or minor repair. Would not recommend. Just go look for cracks and anomalies yourself and save the money?."

With everything else going on, I missed the payment deadline. Weeks later, I received an invoice with an overdue amount, but by then, the report was useless to me. The communication was extremely poor, and in the end, it felt like throwing money away. UPDATE (FEB 2025): They still haven?t delivered my frame inspection report. I?ve requested a refund, but nothing has been resolved. Terrible service!"

I didnt realise that these guys are just renamed APBI, otherwise would not have gone with them, as they missed major defects in the last one and now this one. Things they missed: Major crack in ceiling Cracked Window Garage Shelves not compliant Sliding door not working Mold in wardrobes I would rate them completely unreliable having done two transactions with them. They missed major defects in both the properties and now we have to bear the costs of getting them fixed. There are other companies to go for. And I hope they don't just reply with their standard text "we cannot locate your details"."

  "Avoid This Company ? Extremely Bad Inspection Quality and Extra Bonus your information is leaked to Scammers I recommend against using this company for building inspections. We hired them expecting a thorough and professional assessment of our property, but the inspector, didnt do the inspection properly. He took a torch(didn't even bother to turn on the light) and just take one picture of the rooms from outside,instead of turning on the lights or opening the windows ,going inside the rooms and taking pictures. The report has mentioned couple of things are not working in the kitchen ,but the vendor has send the proofs for me saying that goods are all working in order and the inspector didnt even turned on the things to check if it is working or not. The inspector didnt bother to check anything at all,didnt even stepped into the rooms or the sheds to do the inspections and to take pictures. The inspectors doesnt take enough photos and they are not responsive and they simply say they did the job perfectly,even though they didnt do anything. These guys are offering $10 to give a 5 star google review.I believe that is how they got those reviews. And One more thing is that the moment I gave the Building and Pest inspection job to these guys,I got a mail from scammers(Ispect people are saying that email is not them and it is sent by scammer and all the data is getting leaked to scammer) asking for some personal details,luckily I havent sent through that. Save yourself 550$."

We hired them expecting a thorough and professional assessment of our property, but the inspector, missed multiple major defects that should have been identified. Since moving in, we have discovered numerous issues, including unsealed doors, gaps in window installations, imperfections on the walls, a scratched wardrobe mirror, an unsealed dishwasher cabinet, and improperly installed door handles. These are not minor oversights?they are clear indicators of a rushed and inadequate inspection. When we raised our concerns, the company was dismissive and refused to take any responsibility, instead insisting that their inspector had done a ?thorough? job. They even suggested that some of these defects may have developed after the inspection, which is simply not possible for installation and construction flaws. Their response to our complaint was defensive and unhelpful, showing a complete lack of accountability. We paid for a service that was supposed to give us peace of mind, but instead, we were left with costly issues that should have been caught in the inspection process. It feels like we wasted our money, and I would not trust this company with something as important as a home inspection. Do yourself a favor and go with a more reliable, professional company."

While I understand the inspection is bound by Australian Standards and has limitations, the dismissive response I received when raising valid concerns about the inspection?s quality and omissions demonstrates a lack of accountability. The inspection provided was superficial, and critical issues were overlooked, despite the expectation of a comprehensive assessment. When I shared my feedback, iSpect?s response was to reiterate the limitations of their process rather than take responsibility or offer solutions. This approach suggests a lack of ethical commitment to providing genuine value and safeguarding clients making significant financial decisions. Note that the inspection does not include looking under the house to check the quality of the stumps (not even shining a torch under there), checking for lead paint (even where this is obvious), checking for gutter damage (involving standing on a ladder and looking at the gutters on a single storey dwelling). This is an incredibly unreliable service and a complete waste of money. We?ve wasted tens of thousands of dollars fixing up an issues in our house which should have been picked up. If you?re considering having a property inspected, invest in your own tools and do it yourself."

  "Extremely unpleasant service experienced with ispect and which impacted the overall property buying process eventually landed up as a lost deal for us. ## Red flags ## 1. Inspector/ispect did not communicate that inspection was partially done. Only came to know about it when report was sent 24 hrs later. 2. Was asked to pay additional charges to get remaining inspection done. This was in addition to the AUD 460 + GST that was paid for the B&P inspection. 3. Reached out to ispect to schedule the remaining part of the inspection. Requested them if it can be carried out same day it was time sensitive. Agent said will call back in 10 mins, never called back. Called them back after 2 hrs but they said the inspection can only be done next day now. Because of the lack of communication from the inspector/ispect team re the partial B&P work done to begin with along with the inability of ispect team to understand the urgency required we lost two days and that led to loosing the property deal. Spoke to their Customer Service/Account manager and she asked to send an email with the details. Did that...its been a week and have not even received an acknowledgment yet. It was a total waste of money & time for the services offered by ispect and personally I would definitely not refer their services to any of my friends and family."

  "Our inspector missed a fare few things for our first buy, building inspection. They have all been small things so far, but they also did report small thing in comparison which makes no sense. For example: missed a bracket in the wet area of a shower that was falling off the wall (and now we can't use that shower until its been repaired), there is cold air coming through a couple of power point sockets, one of the bathroom exhaust fans does not work... to name a few."
